Not Me Monday!!

I love not me Mondays. What better way to clear your conscious for the next week. Join in the fun if you want by clicking on the Not Me Monday link below.

Here we go...

This past week I did not throw our Christmas Tree out of the house because EVERY SINGLE NEEDLE on it had fallen off. We watered it, but apparently we got a dud Christmas tree. I did not take the entire bare naked tree lights and all and toss it in the snow in complete frustration.

With the passing of our tree I most certainly did not cave in and use an artificial one even though I hate artificial trees. Where is the spirit in that.

I was not just as excited as my boys about school being cancelled on Monday due to a snow storm and then later in the day I did not wish that school was in fact in session. I love having my boys home with me and they would never get on my nerves on a cold snowy day when we were stuck inside.

Both Kurt and I did not pray that school would be cancelled again due to the extreme cold temperatures on Tuesday so that he could cancel his high school hockey game because he was missing some key players for said game. We would never wish for something like that.

I did not hide some Christmas presents in a garbage bag and forget that they were sitting on the kitchen floor. And when Nick asked what was in the bag I did not tell him that it was dirty diapers and other garbage and ask him to bring it to the shed. To only later have to go out there in the dark to retrieve said bag.

And lastly,, I did not type this list last night and have it post itself today because I knew that I would be super busy with daycare kids today. I am not the organized!!

So there you go. My not me list for the week. Have a great week everyone.

Christmas pictures coming soon.

Very clever to have your child haul their own unwrapped presents as to avoid suspicion! I love it!
I remembering praying for divine weather intervention when I used to play tennis and softball. My girls are too young to play sports, but I know we will be doing just that when the time comes. :)
Found you through MckMama...I'm such a hockey fan, I just had to check you out!

Sorry for the loss...of your tree.

I've always had a fake tree because pine makes me queasy and they are not so bad. :o)

I totally did not take four kiddos outside in BELOW freezing temps because they had cabin fever :)
