14 INCHES!!!

We go from freezing weather to a winter snowstorm!!

As the snow feel yesterday the boys got more and more excited. At about 7pm last night the call came in - SCHOOL IS CANCELLED!! The boys were cheering and jumping around. (I have to admit I was excited too) I was just as excited as they were that school was cancelled?! I love snow days.

The plan this morning - shovel ourselves out, build a snowman, and the most exciting part - A SNOW FORT. Yes, the boys fort obsession has now been tranferred to snow forts. Kurt plowed that night and we have a HUGE snow pile in the front yard for the boys to play on.

We already have plans for the neighborhood pals to come over and start construction on the new fort. Just waiting for it to warm up a bit since it is now freezing again!! -9 without the windchill.
You just gotta love winter in northern minnesota.
