Eric ate the Easter Bunny...

Eric and I were sitting and eating popcorn tonight when we found a piece of popcorn that looked exactly like the Easter Bunny's head. Eric thought it was super cool and decided to save it. He set it down on the table, but grabbed it and held it in his hand when Nick came into the room so that he wouldn't eat it.

A few minutes go by and then all of a sudden Eric starts screaming and crying, "I ate him, I ate him".

Yes, you guessed it - Eric ate the Easter Bunny!! (on accident of course, but no less traumatizing)

Something strange is happening!!

It's Monday. Usually Mondays are not the best days in our house. The start of the week usually begins with cranky boys who don't want to get ready for school, and just pure insanity.

But, something strange is happening in our house today... This is what is going on.

The boys were up, dressed, fed and in their jackets by 7:15 am this morning. Completely ready for school 30 minutes early!!

Supper is cooked and ready for tonight in the crock pot and it was only 10:00am.

Fresh baked cookies are cooling on the rack by 10:30.

All kids are playing nicely with each other and lunch is almost ready.

And, miracles of miracles - the laundry is caught up.

Now I don't want to jinx myself by bragging about our day, but this is so unusual for a Monday that I just had to share. Knock on wood that it stays this way the rest of the week.
